Our first Playdays Nursery opened in 2007 and since has matured into a loving and nurturing environment. Our nurseries allow children to grow and have fun whilst learning and inspiring their growing imagination, through creativity and play. Playdays Nurseries already have an established reputation for offering exemplary facilities and childcare, with flexible choices for parents.
It is crucial to make sure you choose the right nursery for your child: To ensure we are your preferred choice our staff are highly organised, hold the relevant mandatory qualifications and also as important have the acquired the character traits loved by children: warmth, honesty, empathy, patience and a great deal of understanding.
We have a child friendly dedicated facility. Children have the opportunity to go outside in our secure areas, play in the sandpit, make pies in our outside pretend kitchen and even do a spot of gardening!
'Management is strong and there is an ongoing review of nursery practice to identify how outcomes can be continually improved for children.'
Large outdoor spaces, paediatric dietician approved meals and an in-house cook, sensory rooms and an array of extracurricular to ensure your children remain happy & healthy.
Our nurseries offer extracurricular activities from outstanding professional companies, enhancing your child¹s experience with us.
Meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and formula milk (should you require it) are all included in the fees. Alongside our range of extracurricular activities (due to Covid we have been really restricted on activities). Additional fees will apply to some sessions (we charge for consumables on funded only sessions).
The Statutory Framework for the Early years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2012 and Development Matters Foundation Stage, are worked and fulfilled within our nursery. Our members of staff observe, assess, plan, develop and implement a range of learning experiences for each child, which is dependent on their age and stage of development. The professionals teaching and supporting your child will make sure that the activities are suited to your child’s unique needs.
